Attorney General and Minister for Justice Mr Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has announced that Justice Daniel Gounder will be the Acting Chief Justice from 7 to 19 May 2011.
He said the acting appointment has been made by the President of Fiji Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
“Chief Justice Anthony Gates will be away on official duties in Sri Lanka during this period,” Mr Sayed-Khaiyum added.
