01. Sharvada Sharma
Acting Deputy Solicitor-General
Mr Sharma obtained his Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours from University of Waikato, New Zealand in 1996, and is admitted to the Bar in NZ and Fiji. He started his legal career in September 1997, as a legal officer in the Fiji Law Reform Commission, and has been in the Attorney-General's Chambers since January 1998. In 2003, he successfully read for the Masters of Laws Degree at the University College, University of London, UK, as a Chevening scholar. He has been Acting since August 2007.

03. Mereseini Rakuita-Vuniwaqa
Acting State Solicitor
Mereseini obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Tasmania, Australia in 1997, and is admitted to the Bar in the Australian Capital Territory and Fiji. She started her legal career in May 1998 with a brief stint as a private practitioner at Matawalu & Associates before she joined the Attorney General's Chambers as a legal officer in August of the same year.

05. Noleen Artika Karan
Acting Deputy State Solicitor
Noleen graduated with Bachelor of Laws from the University of the South Pacific in 1999. She completed her professional training in 2000 and was admitted to the Bar in the same year. In 2001, she completed her Professional Diploma in Legal Drafting. Noleen spent an year in private practice with Maharaj Chandra & Associates and Carpenters Finance. She joined the Office of the Attorney-General in July 2001.

06. Senileba Waqainabete-Levaci
Principal Legal Officer
Senileba joined the Attorney-Generals Chambers in 2001 as a legal officer with the Ministry of Commerce and went on to become the legal officer for the Commerce Commission from 2003 to May 2008. She rejoined the Attorney- General’s Chambers recently. Prior to that, Senileba was working as in private practice as an Associate with Kelemedi Bulewa from 1999 to 2001. She completed her LLB in 1997 and Professional Diploma in Legal Practice as well as Professional Diploma in Legislative Drafting from

07. Ajendra Adarsh Pratap
Acting Principal Legal Officer
Ajendra completed his Bachelor of Laws from the University of the South Pacific in 1999. After completing his Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies, he was admitted to the Fiji Bar in September 2000. Upon admission, Ajendra worked in the Legal Section of the Fiji Islands and Revenue and Customs Authority. He was also in private practice as an associate with Maharaj Chandra and Associates in 2002, and with Kohli & Singh in 2004. He joined the Office in September 2004.

08. Kamni Naidu
Acting Principal Legal Officer
Kamni graduated from the University of the South Pacific in 2003, and completed her Professional Diploma in Legal Practice in 2004. She was admitted to the Bar in 2004. She joined the Office in January 2004.

11. Salaseini Serulagilagi
Acting Senior Legal Officer
Salaseini graduated from University of the South Pacific in 2004, and completed her Professional Diploma in Legal Practice in July 2005. Previously she was attached to Office as a graduate trainee.

12. Nakil Navinesh Prasad
Acting Senior Legal Officer
Nakil obtained his Bachelor of Laws Degree (2004) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (2005) with Distinction from University of Western Sydney and is admitted to the bar in New South Wales and Fiji. He is also currently undertaking Masters of Law by Thesis in the area of Medical Malpractice Law and Legislative Drafting from USP. He also conducts lectures at Fiji School of Nursing in Medical Law and Ethics. He joined the A-G’s Chambers in 2006.

13. Vanessa Chang
Acting Senior Legal Officer
Vanessa graduated from University of Waikato, New Zealand in 2005 and completed her professional Legal Studies in NZ the same year. She was admitted to the High Court of NZ in 2005 and High Court of Fiji in 2006. Vanessa was employed at the Fiji Human Rights Commission from 2006 to March 2008. She joined Chambers as Legal Officer in April 2008. She is a Legal Advisor to the Commission on the Prerogative of Mercy.

14. Kunal Y Singh
Legal Officer
Kunal graduated from the University of the South Pacific and was admitted to the High Court in 2007. He worked for Diven Prasad Lawyers from July 2007 to April 2008. Kunal is now a legal officer with the Attorney-General’s Chambers.

15. Gwendolyn Raiwalui-Bale
Legal Officer
Gwendolyn graduated from the University of the South Pacific in 2005 and did her Professional Diploma in Legal Practice in 2006. She was admitted to the Bar in 2006. Prior to working with Attorney-General’s Office, she was employed by the Pacific Islands Treaties Series (PITS) which is run by the University of the South Pacific in Port Vila, Vanuatu. Gwendolyn then worked for Legal Aid Commission for more than a year before joining the Attorney-General’s Chambers in early 2008.

17. Sunay Suruj Sharma
Legal Officer
Sunay has attained Double Major;Bachelor of Arts in History and Politics and Bachelor of Law.Mr Sharma has also been a legal exceutive with G.P Lala & Associates for 1 1/2 years.

18. Sangeeta Shivangni Chand
Legal Officer
Ms Chand attained her LLB degree and her Professional Diploma in Legal Practice from University of the South Pacific. Sangeeta has been admitted to the bar in 2009.
